A California native, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I took my first black and white darkroom photography class after graduating high school and the second in 2003. A few years later, I was presented with the opportunity to study photography and art at California State University, Sacramento, and earned a bachelor's degree in photography.
As I pursued freelance and fine art photography, in 2007 I relocated to New Mexico and began entering photography competitions and exhibitions. During the first year of competing locally, I was presented with a People's Choice Award and a First Place Award. In the second year of entering competitions, selected images were published in ABQ Arts Magazine and Photographer's Forum Magazine's Best of Photography 2011 book. Currently back in the bay area, I continue to enjoy photographing in the studio, on location, and in the field. Recent projects and portfolio's include images with a Minimalist approach and photographs of The Sea Ranch, Northern California.
